Great hardware yet extremely low fps in games. Help!

Gtx 780 ti
intel i7 4770k
5 gigs of ram
windows 8.1
1200 w psu

I've been playing League of Legends and Smite which shouldn't be that demanding of games, yet during fights my fps drops to around 5. My GPU drivers are updated. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, thanks!

Well, please tell us the load CPU and GPU temps. This is important. Your CPU/GPU could be overheating and throttling.
