Groudning through case?

So after being extremely frustrated with my first build, I took it of the case to power it on and it worked just fine. I was very careful to put it back into the case, and once again it wont boot! The only thing I can think of it its shorting out. Any help?

Are you installing the motherboard with standoffs? Standoffs (for mobo) prevent the motherboard from making direct contact with the case and thus stops the motherboard from shorting.

Yes I'm using standoffs, they're pre-installed
