Not sure where exactly to put this, so putting it in memory. I have a fairly new system that has had a problem since day 1 and am just now getting around to trying to figure it out. Here's the problem. All of my RGB lighting works fine between Asus Aura Sync or iCue (for my corsair LED strips) with the exception of my 4 dimms of Gskill Trident Memory. Those, no matter what software I install or settings I mess with are always on rainbow mode, and out of sync with anything else in the case. In my research, it seems Gskill doesn't overly care to support this aspect of their devices. Asus says they should be able to control the lighting with Aura, but again, no luck so far. Here's my build out to try to help.
Mobo: ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming
Processor: Core i9 9900k
RAM: Gskill Trident Z 48 GB (4 dimm)
GPU: RTX 2080
