gsync monitor worth it or just get 144hz monitor?

am looking into a new monitor i have 6700k and 1070 would a 144hz g sync be worth it or would just getting a regular 144hz be a better choice i cant seem to find a g sync display thats under 300 anjd i see a bunch of 144hz for 150-200

What games do you play? If FPS -> Gsync is very good to have, Vsync will increase input lag. If MMORPG -> 1440p

Hmm... I could be wrong here but I think g sync is better for sub 60fps (60hz) where the bouncing of frame rates would be more noticeable. If you're already going to be over 60 fps I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make. This is all assuming you're running @1080p.

i play pubg mostly and like fps like far cry BF1 and the like specs are in sig

G-Sync is very nice to have because it prevents screen tearing but it is also very expensive. For those games if you don't want to spend the money for G-sync just get a decent 144hz monitor.
