Hey recently I got 2 brand new ASUS TUF Gaming VG27A 2k 170HZ monitors and they're connected to my GPU via x2 displayport cables.
The issue I keep having is constant screen flickering and refresh rate dropping from 144hz down to 120, then 60, then below 60 in various games, sometimes even red coloured text apears distorted, blurry and just plain weird.
Other than constant refresh rate swapping/dropping and flickering there have been no artifacts or anything alike.
I updated my graphics drivers, monitor drivers, I tried swapping the cables around, tried changing the ports and nothing helped so far, I tried turning off VRR didn't do <Mod Edit>, I'm running the maximum performance setting in nvidia control panel/power plan settings.
PC specs : Ryzen 5 3600
MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060TI
16 gigs of some hyperX ram I don't remember the name of.
Now seemly when I turn Gsync off it's "fixed" or at least I think it is because I haven't noticed any flickering at all.
I'm pretty much out of ideas on what could be causing this, so if anyone has any clue if it's a <Mod Edit> cable (I'm using the ones I got from the monitors themselves) or if it's my GPU or the entire PC?
