250w psu
Gt 1030 ddr5
I3-2120 cpu
x2 4gb ram
120gb kingston ssd
2 fans
Mouse/keyboard

Im a little worried about using this graphic card on my pc because the card said it requires minimum of 300W or greater than that and my psu is only 250w. Should i get a new psu ?

Solution
What is the manufacturer of your PSU? You should
atleast buy a 300 watts psu, because with my system, I use 450 watts, but it is not really 450 watts as the manufacturer is not branded and the real power is only about 300watts

Solution
Assuming the PSU puts out at least 18A on the 12V rail, this should be just fine.

i3-2120 is 65W, TG 1030 is 35W.

I used a 55W card (R7 250E) on a Haswell Pentium system with a 220W Dell PSU for over a year without issue.
- CPU was 54W
- GPU 55W
- PSU label stated 18A on 12V rail, so 216W available.

I also had an HDD rather than SSD, so, that drew a little more power.
