GT 1030 Wrong resolution PLEASE HELP ME

So, I'll try to describe my problem the best possible way.

I had an i3 3210 in a DH61BF motherboard until like a week ago, tried to upgrade to an ASUS H110M-D and a Pentium G4560.

When I used the i3 3210, I bought a GT 1030 and installed, everything was fine, my monitor is a LG 20en33SS-B, 1600x900 is the max advertised resolution of my screen and yes, I used that resolution.

Now, what seems to be problem you must say, well, after I upgraded my motherboard and CPU, I made a fresh installation of WIN 7 in my SSD, when I tried to install the iGPU drivers of my G4560, the intel HD 610 graphics, it just wont install, after some research I found that Windows 7 doesn't support this iGPU driver so I had to make some tweaks in order to be able to install HD 610 graphichs driver, (for my work I MUST use Win 7 64 bits, can't upgrade to WIN 10 at all)

Until that everything was kinda fine, my screen could go up to 1600x900 and looked good.

Then, it was time to install my NVIDIA drivers to use my Asus GT 1030, 2gb, ddr5, low profile one withouth any fan, just a big silver heat spreader, oh my god what a pain in the ass this have been, when I installed my GPU driver, it changed my "native resolution" to 1024 x 768, the max I can go is 1440x900 but it still looks kinda blurry, I cant force 1600x900 in NVIDIA Control Panel, I just cant go for anything higher than 1440x900, when I try it turns my screen black and it says out of range 67.4kHZ / 60hz like if my monitor wouldn't support more than 1440x900, but If I take my GPU off my motherboard and use my iGPU directly, It will work with 1600x900 again, I wouldn't mind using this resolution if at least it looked ok but since my Screen Monitor is 1600x900 it just looks awful.

I was forgetting to add that my monitor just have VGA port, so in order to use my GT 1030 I had to buy an female VGA to male HDMI adapter, it didn't have any issue with my older setup, i dont think that is the problem now but i'll tell you anyways.

Please, PLEASE help me.

I'd like to but my monitor just have VGA port and my card HDMI and DVI-D

Try setting the refresh rate to 59, it should give you that option, see if the max resolution changes. You may need to reboot to see the change.

Really the fix may be to get a newer monitor with DVI or HDMI, 22-24" ones are cheap, especially uses. You can find them in the $40-50 range easily. Or see if someone you know has one you can test with. I've seen smaller ones like yours for under $40 even.

So, if anyone is wondering or having this same problem, the solution was pretty much dumb and easy, forgot to mention that the same day I switched my build to the better PC, I also switched my VGA cable (because it had some issues like any movement would change the colors of the screen or turned it off) to a REALLY BAD AND THIN CABLE, and this THIN cable made my monitor appear as Generic PNP Monitor, now I switched to a thick and better quality VGA cable and everything is just fine.

And this is also why we ask so many questions, often something is left out of the original post, usually many things LOL. At least you had most things in there, half the time it's "my computer broke help me!".
