gt 730 for pcie 1.0?

I have dropped the idea of getting a gtx 970 and i7 4790k and decided to use the money for other purposes. I decided to just upgrade my prebuilt hp computer which has core 2 duo e4400, asus p5lp le mobo and 250w psu. I just want to know whether my mobo will support this gpu as my mobo is 1.0x16 (don't suggest pcie 3.0x16 gpu as it may not work in my mobo and I have heard only pcie 2.0 work in 1.0 and no pci 3.0 in 1.0). Also, whether this psu would handle this gpu or not?

The minimum listed is: 300w with 20 amps on the 12v rail. IMO...I think you'll be fine.
