gt640 is it worth using in this system

i bought a h81m-hds motherboard but could not use it with my cpu (i54460), i'd never heard of haswell refresh. so i decided to use the mobo and build a better budget pc for my father as i had some spare ddr3 ram. i purchased a g3420 pentium cpu and a psu put it in an old case and all's well. i also have surplus to requirements a gainward 2gb ddr5 gt640.
so heres my question, is there any benifit using this graphics card or are the integrated grphics better. this won't be used for gaming, it will be used for streaming, video playing and photo editing. thanks in advance. dirk

The GT 640 will significantly exceed the Pentium's Integrated graphics and will be worth it if your father does anything graphics related at all.

^that. it won't play new games, or recent ones with pretty graphics, but for older titles, casual games and watching movies, it'll be great.
