GTA 5 on GT730 and phenom ii 560 x2

Hey Guys....
I want to play games like GTA 5, AC4, BF4, and many more games.....
I am actually getting an upgrade in ram and GPU.....I decided to get a GT730 (i cannot go beyond that) i saw videos on youtube and GTA5 was playable with that gpu.....i have a doubt about my processor....i want to play gta 5 around 30 fps on med-high settings.....

CURRENT RIG:

GA-M68MT-S2P motherboard
AMD phenom ii x2 560 @ 3.30gHz
4GB ram (going to get more 4gb)
nvidia 7025 256mb integrated

So guys can i play gta 5 on 1366x768, textures and water settings on high, shadows on medium, AA-off with this cpu and gt730.....thanks in advance....

Playing online will require a better system. I'd advise you to save up and get a whole new rig, like a 600-700 dollar one.

OR

get a high end gpu and use it for your next system, so you can play gta v decently. The gtx 950 will do great.

I completely understand u....now i have two options....either i can get only a gtx 650 or i can get a fx-6300 six core edition+the gt730 oc+4 gb ram......
i pretty much think about the second option as i am also getting a new processor....as per i have researched i guess the combination of fx-6300 and the gt730 is pretty good....and then after a year later i would probably get a nice one from the GTX or th R9 series.....what do u think about the second option......

One more Question......my one friend does not have any dedicated gpu.....he has the intel hd 4400 of the i5 3570k and 8gb of kingston ram.....but he plays GTA 5 on high settings @ 30-35 fps......hows this possible ???

I would get a new cpu why because although a new gpu is nice, if you get the cpu first and gpu second the gpus prices would go down so definatly go with the new cpu idea. and thats the thing amd may be cheaper but Intel has more performance per clock and the integrated graphics are far superior if you were to (like your friend) get an intel cpu you would not need to waste money on a gt 730 since the gt 730 is worse than integrated and thus you could save until you have enough for a nice graphics card :) for me i was running 1080p all the time so integrated wasnt enough so i got a GTX 560 OC bargin at the time also very good value but when i had enough i got a gtx 670 which was in my opinion worth the wait. so my advise to you is get a good intel cpu live with the integrated until you have enough for a nice graphics card otherwise your just burning away your money which isnt sensible

Thanks amd4lif3 for giving me your precious advices...u are really helpful to me...i have an idea....the intel cpus are really worth their prices but on other hand their prices are too high...what i will do is i will get the gtx 650 1gb ddr5 and the fx-6300.......u really made me realize that buying the gt730 was a waste of money.....thnxx for it...

but the gtx 650 is on ebay.....pls tell me whether it is a second hand or the new one.....
pls check its specs and also tell me whether it will be compatible with my rig (i m going to get a new psu - 450W) ....pls tell me..

What do u think.....i will probably get it in the month of march.....the seller has clearly stated that they will ship anywhere in india as he/she lives in india and i also live in India.....i think i should get it....Also will i get a warranty ???

PS : And also its showing memory tye : DDR5 SDRAM.....is it good....

Also tell me about the cheapest psu (but also a bit good) i can get ....as i cannot afford 30$ just in a psu....tell me about a good 450W psu somewhere around 15-17 usd....

yeah it should be warned be keep in touch with the guy/girl since if the person delays it constantly its probs a scam so yeah and i cant really reccomend a decent psu that cheap, tbh i think it like this a psu is something which outlasts most other componenets through several builds it should be good not only a cheap one will be very inefficent but also wont last long due to cheap components. and for me it was get the best for the pricing in your local computer shop i got an 880w psu for £50 which is $71.22 according to google. for me that was worth it so just have a look around i dont know how much a psu costs in india but surely you will be able to see the good from the bad. Brand wise i can help silverstone , cooler master corsair, antec, steel series, evga and thermal take make great psu's in general. for me i did get the standard g7 psu but i am a nerd for pc parts so i knew the specs of the psu and knew it was going to be long lasting and i was right its been around 3-4 years so happy me :) but those are brands to go for if you dont know much about psu's

yeah, so i will get the psu from the local computer shop near me...but if we see the positive replies of the gtx 650,,,i do not think its a scam....what do u think ???? And also what about the memory type of the gtx 650...it says its DDR5 SDRAM....is it bad or good ???

Really thanks for your guidance.its been very helpfull....now just we assume that i dont buy the fx-6300 (i'll propably buy it) and now i have the phenom ii 560 x2 @ 3.30gHz...then too with the gtx 650, can i get good frames in gta 5 in med-high settings and some other games at of course 1366x768....

Also as i said u that i will buy the gtx in MARCH...will that product wiil be available at that time, its showing 21 days remaining, whats this ???? (Actually i m a bit new to EBAY) And is the time goes away, then is it like i will not able to buy it ???? I dont want this to happen

Hey i didnt understood.....if some gtx's are remaining then will the seller relist it again or not ???

Also with the phenom ii 560 x2 as u said i will be able to play gta 5 on medium setings.....but will i be able to run it on 1366x768 ......will the gameplay at medium settings be smooth and also will the game look shabby ????

Soon after getting gtx 650 i will get the fx-6300 x6 and i think i can play gta with high settings on 1366x768 [as per my research]

And also subbed to tech yes city...he's really a badass

yeah so for example if i was selling a graphics card and the 21 days finished i would not sit there leaving the gpu wasting away id just list it again but it really is chance someone could buy it an a month or tomorrow so if you want a card get it as soon as you can.

and at that resolution 1366 x 768 it really would be worrying if it was not smooth lol im thinking you could pull off something really nice if you can ahah basically that cpu you have is the phenom ii 560 x2 its a two core cpu because 2 of the cores are locked. you can actually enable the extra two cores this will give you extra power from the cpu

So when i'll get the fx-6300 also ....then overall performance of gta 5 will be good, I guess ??? and i read somewhere that to load more textures and to play games on max(high) resolutions, u require 2gb of graphics card...i have resolutuion of 1366x768....and after getting the fx will i be able to max out resolution of most games(including gta) with the gtx ????

Hey thnxx bro.....but i need to ask that will the gtx fit in my case...i m asking this bcoz i dont know what case i have right now...its definitely not a gaming case...but i guess it will fit though

Secondly, as per requirements of gtx 650, will i get a 6-pin adapter in the box or my new psu should already have it ???

Thirdly, after putting the gpu in the pci x16 slot, i only just have to uninstall my nvidia integrated 7025 drivers and install the gtx one's and after that am i done or i have missed out something ????

take a picture of the case and send it to me ill probably know what case you have lol proud geek here. try get one with your psu since used gpus usually dont come with an adaptor if not with either its not alot for molex to 6 pin adaptors. and id un-install the integrated graphics first then install the graphics card a clean system means less risk of glitches know what I mean. after its in the computer just load into windows and if windows update doesn't install the graphics driver just get nvidia geforce experience it should be able to automatically detect your graphics card and tells you when an update is available for the gpu.

But in the description of the gtx in the IN THE BOX section, they have mentioned only "Main Unit, Driver DVD, Manual, Boost Premium"...so then too will i get one6-pi adapter in the box ???.....btw what is this boost premium ?????


Also will i be able to play gta 5 online with friends with the GTX + FX-6300 combination.......????

Hii m8..nice to see u after long time....i really thought that u left my thread and thnxx for coming back....
I dont think that i will be able to get the gtx bcoz i dont think they will be available in march....So i thought of zotac gt 730 2gb ddr5.....how will this be ??? will i be able to play gta 5 and minecraft with seus shader....

Will the fx-6300 be compatible with my mobo...its gigabyte m68mt-s2 rev. 3.1 and AM3+ is written on the board in bold letters....
