GTA 5 ssd stuttering..hdd not

I had gta 5 on my hdd and it ran perfectly...I grabbed a 120gb ssd to put it on to get faster load times and now it stutters like crazy..memory is 8gb and running at 95% but I didn't have this problem with the hdd. Thoughts? Does a ssd just use more memory? Thanks for any help.
