Gta V Download version

I don't have money to buy a digital version of Gta V, but my Cd Drive is broken. So i was wondering if i could buy a physical version and use the code to download the game online. Thanks for the link. As I read it the answer is yes. You won't be able to add it to your steam library. But once you use the code it will be tied to your socialclub account.
