Finally GTA for pc yaaay!
I want to buy the game but I dont know to buy the version on steam or DVD I prefer phisical media but if there is an advantage over one another I would like to hear it. Also I beat the minimum specs but not my much I want to know if you think I can run it

Athlon II X4 635 2.9GHZ CPU
10GB DDR3 RAM
Radeon 260X 2GB

Buy the DVD version. With Steam's unreliable servers, I wouldn't trust that platform. You can get game updates through Rockstar Social Club. In fact, The Witcher III does not require Steam, either. I guess the horrid year Steam had last year destroyed Valve's reputation and now game publishers are starting to abandon that DRM.

Depends on how fast your internet connection is. GTA V does have a hefty 60GB download if you do buy it digitally, so it may be better to grab the DVD if you have a slower connection and don't want to wait a couple of days before you're able to play. There will still be some downloading even with the DVD with the day one patch and all the subsequent patches, but it won't be nearly as bad as a 60GB download for the entire game.

The Witcher 3 does not require Steam because CD Projekt Red doesn't believe in DRM. They didn't require it on Witcher 1 or 2 either. They are all DRM free.

The reason third party sellers are giving out GOG keys instead of Steam keys is because CD Projekt Red owns GOG just like EA owns Orign and Ubisoft owns UPlay.

You are all doom and gloom about Steam but they are practically synonymous with PC gaming. Ask any casual gamer and they will probably know what Steam is. Origin and uPlay would be iffy. I'm not knocking those services. I have GOG Galaxy, uPlay, Orign, and Steam installed on my PC and I buy from all of them based on who has the best price on a given game.

Competition brings down pricing for all of us and I'd love to see someone seriously compete with Steam. Steam is not as bad as you are making it out to be though.
