GTA V Stops Responding

i just downloaded gta v and it crashed when ever i press q for cover
i played the first mission without using cover but in game play if i press q any where it crashes
is there any solution for this
please help

GTA V has been plagued with all kinds of issues since the PC release. You can try running a repair and see if that fixes things, or if that doesn't fix it, a reinstall. Make sure that you've also got the most recent patches, I believe 335.1 is the most current version. Ensure you also have the latest drivers for your hardware as well.

If nothing else solves your issues, open a ticket with Rockstar support, assuming of course you own the retail version and aren't playing a pirated copy. I had to do the same after the 335.1 patch where it kept causing the game to crash every time I went to resume story mode and they patched the issue. Things have been fine ever since.

Looks like a pirated version. We cannot support any fixes for pirated games. You'll need to purchase a legitimate copy from Steam.
