I play one game, Grand Theft Auto and have preordered GTA V through Amazon and am pumped for it to come out. I have an i7 2600k 3.4 Ghz machine with 16GB of RAM but a subpar video card. I just purchased the LG Electronics 65UB9500 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D LED TV. I was wondering if there are any affordable (under $200) video cards that would let me play the game in 4k. If not within the affordable range what video cards would be capable of this requirement? Thanks!

If you're going to game at 4k and assuming GTA V will be demanding, you'd need at least 2 970/980s to run 4k@medium settings.
Could be, it was Tomb Raider, I got a max of 20 fps, lol, but the game still ran like there was no problem, so that was confusing. Although my friend said that his friend almost has the same rig as me and he gets different and higher fps.

It's showing that at 4k it is running at 24Hz from my computer. In the NVIDIA Control Panel that's the only option I have when the resolution is set to 4k. I have high speed HDMI cables running from my computer to my AVR and from my AVR to my TV and both the AVR and TV supposedly support HDMI 2.0. Here is the TV and AVR I have...

AVR

TV

Try plugging directly into the TV. I didn't see the HDMI 2.0 spec listed for your reciever on the Amazon link you posted, though it may be somewhere else. For that matter, the HDMI 2.0 spec wasn't on the Amazon link for the TB either, but I found it on B & H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1028751-REG/lg_electronics_65ub9500_65_4k_led_smart.html

I didn't realize that TV has 10-bit color - crazy!

I mean, you can't use it with a GeForce card, but it's cool in case you ever decide to edit photos or video on a Quadro card using the Adobe suite.

So after playing around in the NVIDIA control panel I was able to set the TV to 30Hz and that seems to fix my input lag. Don't know why I can't get 60Hz, I've seen people saying that can get 4k at 60Hz with a GTX 980. I am going to try to connect my PC directly to the TV to see if that gives me 60Hz.

Check this out. People with same issue. Someone said switching between "TV" mode and "PC" mode toggles the 30hz/60hz option. Worth digging through the thread.

Well I plugged in the HDMI cable to bypass the AVR and voila, I see the 4k at 60hz setting in PC mode. So I double checked the specs on the AVR and somehow I got mixed up in the versioning as it isn't HDMI 2.0. I am going to return the RX-675 and get the RX-677 which has HDMI 2.0 support.
