GTAV FPS is significantly lower online than it is in single player

Hi. I have recently upgraded my computer, It runs games very well, except from GTA V which runs fine in single player (around 90fps on average) but then runs around 50-60fps when I play online, this is not as bad when in the quieter areas of the map but it's still not great.

My system specs in case it helps:

AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz (haven't got round to overclocking yet)
MSI Armor GTX 1070
MSI X370 Gaming pro carbon
12GB Corsair DDR4 (2x4 3000mhz kit + 1x4 2400mhz) (tried running all 3 sticks at 2133 and 2400 without any noticeable difference)
EVGA 650w GQ 80+ gold PSU
Asus Xonar Phoebus sound card
Sandisk 240gb ssd
WD 1TB HDD
Toshiba 1TB HDD
Corsair H100x aio cooler
Acer 144hz monitor

Before switching to Ryzen I was using an i5 7600k (rest of the specs were the same) overclocked to 4.7ghz and it ran the game about as well as the Ryzen in single player (which is fine, wasn't expecting much if any increase in FPS) but my fps didn't change too much when switching between single player and multiplayer.

My in game graphics settings

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably It may cause because GTA Online consumes more System demanding features. Such as Anti-Cheat, many players with many cars, freemode events, invites getting sent and more...

I would have assumed this too, although I never had this big of a performance difference when using the i5, I would totally expect a difference but not around 50fps difference tho that is way too much to lose just by switching to online.
