i wonder if i could play Frontlines Fuel of War with my graphics card on highest settings and a 1280 x 1024 resolution with 4aa and 8fsaa getting an average FPS over 60? Does anyone think so, since F:FOW is a newer game than Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and on that i was getting 80 FPS average with the same settings. On Cod 4 i get 100 FPS average with the same settings also. But with Turok, my FPS isn't soo good, that is another 128mb minimum graphics game but seems to stress my gpu.

cpu phenom ii 720 be. Memeory corsair 4gb 800mhz. I don't see how power supply gives better performance in games, it's either your graphics card doesn't work or it does. I already have the card. It's a Win Power 650 watt psu. It came with the case, but i thought since it is quite highly factory powered, eventhough it's not the best of quality it should cope with my GTS 250 fine. My GTS 250only requires 1 pci power connector and is 512mb. The PSU is probably 85 percent or over efficient. motherboard XFX geforce 8300. Quite a nice mid range micro ATX motherboard with Hybrid SLI. Got all the feature i need with 4 ram slots and other goodies etc.

You can definitely play Frontlines:Fuel of war smoothly , I'm not sure if you'll get above 60 fps at highest settings 4 x AA 8 x FSAA at 1280x1024 but it doesn't really matter , anything above 35 is smooth to play

lol i'm speaking too simply, i just thought you took for granted that my system was going to be average or higher. Afterall GPU is the main component that determines FPS once you have 4gb of ram, and a processor over 2.8ghz.

if G.R.A.W looks fairly realistic with i think 90 FPS avergage with those settings aught i to get relatively the same for F:FOW? I mean it's games like Far Cry 2 i understand that i don't think my graphics card will be superior in.

you know the NVIDIA graphics cards, and how their cards above the GTS 250 have their pci power connection on the side, are there any cards that have their power connectors at the front, just like the ATI cards do? Since my case is a cube case, it's really well designed out that i could fit a GTX 295 in it but it's just that it's power connectors are on the side. Looking at the ATI 4870x2 it has it's power connectors at the front. There must be NVIDIA cards above the GTS 250 that have their power connectors at the front or facing towards the top rather than facing towards the side? by top i mean facning in the same orientation as the fan which is looking directly at you and front, at the end of the heatsink on the end of the board rather than on the side of the depth of the board.
