Gts 450 GDDR3 vs GDDR5

hello,
i am looking to upgrade my vga (graphic card) i currently have a 9500gt ddr2 1gb , graphic cards in my country are so expensive , the gts 450 1gb gddr5 costs 170$ and the gtx 460 768mb edition costs 270$ , i know it sux :S the gts 450 gddr3 1gb asus costs 135$ , does the gddr3 version needs a 6 pin connector ?? is there a big difference between the ddr3 version and the ddr5 version ?? plz answer and thx in advance

DDR5 > DDR3

Overall a lot faster

ddr3 is double the data of DDR2 and DDR5 double the rate of DDR3

So go for DDR5!
