Hello, I have build a low-mid pc gaming and I have problems with certain game, it doesn't run smoothly like it should be, like below 30fps. What's seems to be the problem here?

I have updated the gpu driver to the latest version, still get bad performance in game. I'd even uninstall using DDU and reinstall, still have bad performance. I'd even updated my BIOS and other components.

The game I tested is Ghost Recon Wildlands, Dishonored 2, Just Cause 3, Prey and AC:Syndicate. My settings on this game are all Low Quality 1080p, I have like below 35 fps. Is this normal? Because I watched some youtube videos that have the same gpu runs quite well, example Ghost Recon Wildlands runs 35-50fps on High Settings. While im getting below 30fps on Low Quality.

Is it because the games are unoptimized? or should I upgrade some components that i have right now?

Here are my specs:-
i5 3470 3.2Ghz
Gtx 1050 Phoenix 2GB
4gbx2 Kingston ddr3 1600
WD Blue 1tb 7200rpm
Thermaltake SmartSE 550w
Motherboard H61M-C

Some games don't have issue. Its mostly on new games. I dont even understand myself.
I mostly have issues with mostly new games, correct me if im wrong but I did say on my first post that "I have problem with certain games".

It could be that your card only has 2gb of Vram, certain games can be seriously effected by this, while others will show no problems. You said your temps were fine also. So that rules out overheating, a clean install of Windows can do wonders for your system, if you cannot find any other answers, I would highly recommend this.

Sorry, but it's difficult to keep track of every detail said over the course of several hours or days, and other posts.

Yeah I think I will do clean installation of Windows, I will tell the results when I done doing that.

I played it on Low settings. still not a stable fps. :/

I am using 1050 2gb for my new rig as well. CPU is Ryzen 1600 though. I played PES with High setting and it lags... I tried medium, still lag... After I open the Geforce experience coming along with the driver, and the game is smooth after it is optimized by the tool. Maybe you have already tried this... Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion, I already done it, doesn't work.

Ok, I have already solved the problem!

It turns out the monitor cable is the culprit. Yesterday after I bought my SSD, do a clean install of Windows 10, install Nvidia drivers using Nvidia Experience and other drivers. It still doesn't work, I'm getting the same fps, struggling to get 30fps. So, I tried researching on the internet again, I found out there's some guy who had problems with his game not getting stable fps. So he found out the monitor cable is the problem, after he change his cable, he's getting stable fps.

Many people on the forums replied to him saying his CPU maybe bottlenecking or GPU is the problem. They said monitor cables doesn't affect fps. I haven't found any person who said monitor cables affects fps on the internet.

So I ended up buying DVI single link cable. Before that, I'm using DVI to HDMI cable. I put my new DVI cable to the Monitor to GPU the boom I'm getting stable fps! No drops or anything. 50-90fps on Assassins Creed Syndicate while before I've barely gotten 30fps. Other games that I state are also fine all above 40fps.

Many thanks to you guys for helping me. Turns out the solution is the last thing we could have guess, monitor cable. I'd even couldn't believe myself.
