I have recently bought gtx 1050 TI and when I install it into my pc using dvi to my screen or even without it, it doesn’t display (shows dual bios first screen then monitor goes to sleep after about 2minutes with no loading)and when I force shutdown it is only 1 click not a 10sec ones . My pc is working fine when I remove the graphic card
Specs: intel core i3 2120 CPU 3.30GHz 8GB RAM 64 bit win10 500W PSU
monitor supports DVI and VGA only
I know it is pretty old sorry for trouble and hope u can help :)

i3 2120? Your mother is propably old too have you ever updated your bios so it can support these new gpu's? Did you try a clean install of the old drivers before inserting the new gpu?Try to set primary display device to PEG OR PCI E.

First of all make sure you connect your DVI or VGA to you gpu and not to the motherboard. There is program you can download called DDU there is an option to clean install the graphics drivers and shut down for installing a new gpu. To update bios you have to go to your motherboard website and find the latest bios then you need a usb drive to save it and you go into your bios and update there in the bios you will find and the primary display device too. To enter the bios when you power your computer you have to spam del or f12 or f2 or whatever the manufacturer set.
