I want to buy either a Dell Optiplex 7010 or 9010 (preferably mini tower) and a GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti (both being low profile ), would these fit and work correctly, or should I look elsewhere? Thanks.

But don't low profile cards use less wattage? The power supply on both of them only has 275 watts, so I'm guessing I should preserve it, unless I am wrong?

No, it is not the low profile/full height that determines the wattage demanded by the card. It is the card it self. ANY GTX reference speed card will draw the same load. Basically, all GTX 1050 Ti are 75W (TDP) cards except those that are factory OC'ed and have a 6-pin header requiring an aux. power source.

Look on your PSU's nameplate. It should say that it has 2 x +12V rails rated for 17 amp and 10 amp, capable of supplying 240W. That is sufficient for any GTX 1050 Ti that does not require a 6-pin adapter. And from my experience, Dell PSUs are slightly under-rated.

GTX 1050 ti

Can I buy that without buying a new Power Supply, also I have not bought the PC yet, I'm buying it soon so I'm not sure and they don't specify it, so would it fit and work with the Optiplex?

If it is an an unaltered Dell Optiplex 7010/9010 MT, yes. It will fit and should work fine. Obviously I can't guarantee anything w/o seeing the PC in person. But there should be no problem.

Ah, well I'll see if it works out, if not I'll just buy a new power supply. Thanks!

From what I can tell the "04G-P4-6255-KR" is identical to the "04G-P4-6255-KB", so if the KB fits, I'm pretty sure the KR would fit just fine.

The KR doesn't require a 6-pin, so it is either not factory OC'ed or very little. Should be fine with your 225W PSU if it is the one I mentioned above.

Neither of them mention anything about them factory overclocking, and also the mini towers have 275 watts in their power supply, unless I am wrong.

So also, for about 50 dollars extra and a new power supply (~40 dollars) I can get a GTX 770, would it be better if I got a GTX 770 over 1050 ti, or should I just keep the base power supply and GTX 1050 ti? Thanks.
