Will it make a difference if my PSU says 550w OPP if i'm looking to use the EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti?

I use:

i7-7700
8.0 GB of RAM
1 Tb Hard Drive

I just want to know if this is the peak or continious wattage.

OPP usually means Over Power Protection in power supplies. It’s the trip point where the power supply will safely shut down.

OPP should be set at 120 - 125% of the PSUs power rating, but it’s usually set 130 - 140%.

Power supplies don’t normally tell you where their OPP is triggered. Are you sure your not looking at two different specifications?
Which exact power supply is it?

Continuous 400w will be enough for you system.
