gtx 1050 ti vs r7 260x

So plain and simple. I'm looking to upgrade my rig and I'm interested in a gtx 1050 ti but I'm not sure if it's a good upgrade over my current r7 260x. I'm also open to suggestion. Not trying to go overboard on pricing so ~$150 would be my sweet spot. Thank you.
My current specs are:
AMD x4 750k
MSI A78M-E35
Sapphire Radeon r7 260x
PSU CX500
8GB ddr3 ram

Yes, but no point. The CPU will bottleneck the 1050 Ti.

well u will see some improvement i believe, the benchmarking here: http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-R7-260X-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti/3151vs3649 shows that 1050ti gives u about 40% increase
but u might see some bottleneck since ur CPU aren't that powerful

I would wait for Ryzen 3. Same core count, very similar IPC to any i5 that will be out, but like $70-120 less. That and a cheap motherboard will only run for about $160.
