8gb ddr3 ram
1tb hdd
And its has 300w built in dell PSU
I want to add GTX 1050TI to my vostro 260 i want to ask is it possible and safe will it work fine? I dont have much money and i want to play games am i making a right decision by buying vostro 260 or should i go for another system

Solution
Usually, Dell, HP, etc. use low profile components to keep the costs down, so I wouldn't trust that PSU. Don't get me wrong, it's a good value for money, but you might need to change that PSU, and you will be good to go.

[strike]Yes and no. Bottleneck is not a straightforward thing — in CPU intensive games, the GPU will bottleneck the CPU; in GPU intensive games, the CPU will bottleneck the GPU, no matter how good the paired parts are. Definitely i5-2400 is better than i3-2100 if you can pay $144 for it.[/strike]
Edit: I must had drunk something or I was really sleepy to write this nonsense. (Seeing the comment was posted at 4:15 AM, I would go with the latter.)

What if i get optiplex 990 or something like that?
But they have less power supply at 250 or something will I be able to run my GPU with the stock PSU or not some people say they are running 1050ti on optiplex 790 MT with stock PSU the thinf is am totally out of budget so, I wount be able to change the PSU.
