Question Gtx 1050ti or Gtx 1650 in 2019

So I want to buy a gaming laptop under and around 1000 dollars.
I currently have my eye on one which is around 970 dollars, this.
With i5 8th gen and gtx 1050ti rest is pretty common in most of laptops today (storage, ram, etc).

But I recently came across this which has i5 8th gen but with a gtx 1650 max-q. It's around 1000 dollars, so I was thinking whether gtx 1050ti is still good for gaming in 2019 or I should spend some more to get the latest gtx 1650.

It is better to go with the laptop equipped with the 1650. It is considerably faster than a 1050. If you are gaming on a laptop you need all the muscle you can get. Entry level Mobile GPU's aren't as powerful as the desktop counter parts. Watch this video you might get an idea

what games you planing on playing etc ? for casual gaming high settings better going for some thing a bit more powerful like a 580 or some thing 1050 ti pretty weak for gaming 🤔

if you go for a tower would get much more for your money if portability is not a major reason for going for the laptop

that would be a card you could build a system with if it was a desktop for about $1000
