GTX 1050ti vs GTX 1060 3gb

Hi ,

I got GTX 1050ti and I want to know that , is it worth and good to buy GTX 1060 3gb

I got Intel i3 7100 processor
8gb DDR4 Ram

1060 3gb version is only one step better card then 1050 ti, so it would be good, but not worth. Especially since in some games 1050ti fares better because 3Gb of VRAM can limit GPU.

The 1060 is faster, but probably not worth the cost. 1) The cost is probably way more than it should be. 2) You only have a 7100 and the CPU will probably bottleneck that card a bit. At least in some games. I'd stick with what you have.

1060 3gb is 40% faster than a 1050 TI... but things you should consider.

980 GTX used right now costs about the same as a new 1060 3gb and it's also about the same in performance as a 1060 6gb.

970 GTX used is a little faster than a 1060 3gb and costs $175-$225 or what the MSRP of the 1060 3gb should be.

According to UserBenchmark, the effective speed of the GTX 1060 is 72% better than the GTX 1050 Ti and it's game frames per second rate is 31% higher, on average. Take a look at the above link for this and more details.

Only you can decide if it would be worth it to you to upgrade.
