GTX 1060 3gb getting worse performance than RX 560

I recently bought a zotac GTX 1060 3gb, and I was using an RX 560 before. I now haven't had the slightest performance increase (I have in benchmarks) in games, sometimes even worse (like in Skyrim). Games like Need for Speed Most Wanted and Crysis 3 didn't have a bit of an increase in fps, the only thing that inproved was GPU usage during gameplay which went from 100% with my RX 560 on Skyrim to only 30% about on my GTX 1060 3gb. Why am I experiencing more dropped frames and less fps than my RX 560?
System specs:
Motherboard: GA-A320MA-M.2 Ultra Durable
CPU: Ryzen 1500x
SSD: Patriot Burst 240 GB
RAM: Patriot Viper 2x4GB 2400mhz

Assuming you have no obvious heat issues, perhaps do a quick wattage calc vs your PSU (you didn't mention it).

Also, if your Zotac is AMP edition, is the 6-pin power attached?

Edit: In fact I think either Zotac 1060 requires a 6-pin.

Nope, no heat issues, and my 500w PSU is sufficient enough no issues there.

It's a thermaltake smart 500w PSU. GPU temp is only around mid 40 degrees to upper 60 degrees (depending on how long been playing and what game...in skyrim I have a stable 47 degrees). CPU temp is also far from an issue at only 39 degrees to 40's and CPU usage only 23%
BTW GPU asage only 34%

EDIT: I did remove the AMD driver, nothing worked. I even tried a clean install of windows and installed Nvidia drivers, same thing.

I'll give this a shot. Uninstall both amd and nvidia and reinstall nvidia drivers and see if that works

what the monitor? what resolution/detail level are you playing?

It's a 1080p 60hz monitor, and I always play at native res
