I just bought a new GTX 1060 3gb graphics card and its performing worse than my old graphics card(rx 560). I always see my usage under 40% when I'm playing games. I get around 90 fps on Overwatch and this is with the lowest quality settings. My build right now is a...
AMD A10-7850k APU

Solution
1. its not the cpu at all. its the drivers for the 1060. remember AMD components are tuned to work well together. nvidia and AMD dont work too well together. 2. look to see if nvidia made some Overwatch tuned drivers. your not the first and wont be the last to have issues with Overwatch. 3. the A10 does not create a bottle neck for a 1060. do you have the onboard gpu on or off on the A10? try to see the results with it on or off.

I would personally say that your new GPU is being bottle necked by your CPU. The CPU you have isn't really good at all. It will do the job but it is bringing down your GPU and allowing it to not do its best performance.

Also make sure you get rid of any radeon files/drivers you have to make sure you only have nvidia now.

I would say to get a new CPU and it should work all better.

Do you have any suggestions towards a good budget CPU that wouldn't bottle neck the GPU?

I turned all that stuff off and checked the drivers. Its not only overwatch, other games like csgo max out at 120. I would think it would be higher with gtx 1060.
