So I have an amd Fx 6300 and I am fine with overcclocking it. I was wondering if I should get the gtx 1050ti 4gb or the gtx 1060 3gb. I am aware that the 1060 would be bottlenecked quite severely, but, I don’t want to have to upgrade the gpu again when I get a better cpu. Like I said, I am totally fine with overclocking. Also, if you have any other cards that would work better with this cpu and perform well in 1080p, 60fps gaming please let me know.

With an OC'd 6300, either card would be 'ok'. A 1050TI is aiming more for medium, 1080p 60FPS, with a 3GB 1060 being more high-max, 1080p, 60FPS.

If you want a GPU that'll last through a CPU upgrade - I'd look to a 6GB 1060. The 3GB 1060 and 1050TI are pretty close in performace overall (with the 1060 'winning', of course).

I own a 3GB 1060, and if I could do it again, I'd look at either a 1050TI or a 6GB 1060, skipping the 3GB variant alltogether.
