[SOLVED] gtx 1060 6gb cpu recommendation

sir..i want buy gtx 1060 6b graphic card....i have i7 870 processor is it enough for that graphic card to play recent games at 40-60 fps at 1600 to 900 resolution without any much bottleneck..pls tell me

Should still be fine. If you experience any stuttering because the CPU is reaching 100% usage, try to shift the load onto the GPU by turning up your settings.

We just had a guy post about lower FPS with an i7 960 and 1060gtx getting lower FPS than his buddy with a newer intel and 1050ti in gta 5. He is most likely held back by the cpu in that cpu intensive game. So going with a little less gpu may be advisable.

thank u sir..but i want to know that can i play games from 2012 to 2018 with 40 to 60 fps with that processor and graphic card at my resolution and is it possible to play upcoming games atleast at 30 fps pls tell me sir....

Get the 580 instead. The 580 is already better than 1060 and now it's way cheaper these days...
