[SOLVED] Gtx 1060 6gb idles at 47C°

So my Gigabyte gtx 1060 6Gb windforce idles at around 47ish C° most of the time. Its fans dont turn on until it hits 50C° though. My case has the side panel removed so I would assume there is plenty of airflow for the graphics card. My question is: are those idle temps normal or should I try setting a custom fan curve? I already set the power management mode to optimal power inside of nvidia control panel which did drop the idle temp from 55C° to 47C°. Temps during heavy gaming loads are 70-73C°.

As long as the temps stay fine when they kick on there's nothing to worry about. No reason to run the fans when it's idle anyway

Those temperatures are completely normal for that card.

Appears to be normal, setting a fan curve won't hurt tho, set it to be optimal for cooling when under load so it isn't noisy when idle.

normal temps. Setting a fan curve is up to you. Make sure your PC case has good airflow and remember that the ambient temps can affect gpu temps too.

My 1060 gets that as well. If it bothers you, just turn the fans on, it'll go down. GPUs are designed to go up to 80c safely.
