Question GTX 1060 6GB problems

So, I bought my Gtx 1060 around 1 and a half years ago and my pc just stopped working, everytime I press power button, lights flash for. Millisecond and turn off. First I thought it was PSU but then I took my gpu out and my pc worked, so I now know my gpu is the problem. What would’ve caused my gpu to die like that just out of no where? I also want to know the Gtx 1060 has a warranty since it says nothing on the box.

Also, would it matter if I plug in like a 760 for the time being? Like if would still work fine together with my parts but less performance obviously
My parts:
Ryzen 2600 3.6ghz
MSI B450 tomahawk
VS550w psu
