GTX 1060 Aorus Xtreme compatibility with MSI Mystic Light Sync

Hey guys, I was gonna go for a new build with the MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon and a Gigabyte GTX 1060 Aorus Xtreme Gaming(coz it looks hella cool). But does it support MSI's Mystic Light Sync? Will I be able to get my graphic card's lights to sync up with the motherboard?

Yes but like MSI's Mystic Light sync is compatible with a host of other hardware like G.Skill's Ram etc. So dont you think they'd do so for this GPU as well?

Nope. Because I have an asus prime mobo, and the darn thing won't let me sync the colors with my gigabyte gpu, because it's not an asus product.
You would have to try mystic light and then set the color from aorus engine, but last time I messed with AE(few months ago), the darn software was bugged, and was causing my games to crash. Uninstalled, and I haven't touched it since - they may, or may not have fixed it since. So be aware of that if you have issues with games crashing - first suspect would be AE.

Oh daymn, thats unfortunate lol. Anyways, hows the AE software holding up now? I've heard they updated it so yea

Ahh I see. But then how do you control and manage the lights? Sorry if my question seems stupid, I'm new to this lol

It's not stupid.
I just don't concern myself with it. I just let the lights do their thing.
I'm one of the guys who didn't care for everything to be drowned in rgb.
The case's lights and fans were enough, IMO.
