Gtx 1060 founders vs Asus strix vs gigabyte

So basically I have been looking to upgrade to a new graphics card. My current is a Nvidia GT730. I am wanting to upgrade to a GTX 1060. Big jump, I know right. My biggest question is: is it worth it to spend the extra money on the higher end version of the card? Are the ones with the extra fans meant for better cooling or do they give better fps. My main goal is to get the best fps out of this card. Here is what I am looking at:

Again my main goal is to know is it worth upgrading from the founders edition. And will it get me the extra fps. I will be playing games such as: CS:GO, ESO, BO3, MC, LOL, and Shadow Of mordor. I could care less about temps and overclocking I just want fps. Also my power supply is the 550w will that be enough to support all of this.

Also side question: Will my skylake i5-6400 be enough for this gpu as in will it bottleneck it. Or will it be ok?

Yes an i5-6400 will be plenty enough. Yes a quality 550w power supply will be enough.

In my opinion the custom cards are worth it but only to a point in this price segment. A $310 premium GTX 1060 is not going to give you a $50 improvement in performance over say a Evga SC or mini at around $250-260, we are talking about 1-3 fps at best in most cases.

Overall all GTX 1060's will perform almost identical. If they don't you just got a bad card.
Overall the custom cards such as the Gigabyte or Asus cards provide much better cooling solutions. So if you plan to overclock that should be your choice. However if you don't it's just purely aesthetics, or just for having lower temps.

Some cards do have higher factory overclocks, however due to GPU boost with good cooling you can still reach that and above those clocks anyway. The difference can be minimal.

As with games like BO3 and CSGO. You'll easily get over 80-100fps in BO3 and CSgo, those games arent extremely CPU demanding either so you'll be good
As for the 550w PSU, as long as it's a reputable brand and delivers what it is rated at you should be good. 550w is plenty for an efficient 1060.
