Question GTX 1060 GDDR5 or GDDR5X ?

Hi what GPU should i choose:

Galax 1060 6GB OC GDDR5X with 11ghz OC in the memory or the Galax 1060 6GB EXOC White with higher clocks and better cooling?

The OC version is more basic, doesnt have a great PCB but with 11Ghz it gains a little more FPS.
The EXOC version has a better PCB and cooling, better build quality, vrm, Heatsink.

I'd the one equipped with GDDR5X, provided both are at the same price point. If not, how much more are you paying for the GDDR5X over the one with GDDR5? In rality they are both built the same with the notable exception that the backplate is on only one of the cards.

I would go with the gddr5x model. You buy gpu for the most fps you can squeeze out of it.

So after looking at benchmarks between gddr5 and gddr5x there isn't much difference, so if you are not going to overclock go with the white, if you know how to overclock I would go with the gddr5x.

If the GDDR5X version has the vram clocked at 11gbps, then go for that one.

Yes , go with GDDRX5 is the better of the two options.
