My power supply is a chieftec CTB-450S, which has served me well for over 2 years. My current graphics card is a zotac gtx 750 ti, which has no auxiliary power connector. My psu has only one 6pin pci-e connector. I'm not quite a pc enthusiast, so i'd like to ask, if my card doesn't have an auxiliary power connector, does the cable connect anywhere? Into the motherboard? And if i only have one 6pin pci-e will i be able to use it with a gtx 1060, which requires auxiliary 6-pin pcie?

Solution
The 6-pin PCIe connector is not attached to the motherboard, only to video cards that require external power. If you have one PCIe connector and a GPU that only needs one such connection, you should be fine.
