Gtx 1060 & PSU

I am considering upgrading my amd 7850 to a msi 1060. My psu is a corsair 600w. The 1060 requires an 8pin connector, is that the same as a 6pin+2 or a 4+4pin? Just want to make sure I will be able to hook up the 1060 to my current psu. This will be my first time changing a gpu.

6+2 one is the 8-pin connector for your GPU.
4+4 is for CPU.
