I got an EVGA gtx 1060 sc for free because it had an issue with it, and I wanted to see if it worked. After installing it, it worked for about 30 miuntes, and I had time to install drivers but no time to do any tests. Then suddenly, the pc just turned off. After that the pc stayed on for about 5 minutes before shutting down, and after that it showed a glitchy mess on my screen and I was forced to turn it off. The last time I tried it wouldn't even post, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything to do with this thing.

Open the Nvidia control panel and click on Help and then on Debug. That removes the OC on the card which can sometimes help in these situations.
