Gtx 1070 EVGA super clocked question

So my precision x OC from EVGA shows that it has 4000 memory. But when I run 3dmark it only says 2000 memor memory bus. (Same with everyone else that has 1070) I'm really confused? As my rx 480 was OC to 2050 and this one is significantly more expensive and supposed to be faster. Thanks!

The mem is faster than that, try downloading techpowerup gpu-z for detailed info on your gpu. Also, I like MSI Afterburner for pushing clocks, note which value changes in gpu-z.

I saw that in 3dmark you have to multiply the memory by 4 since it's ddr5?

2003 x 4 = 8012
8012/2 = 4006 [showing in percisonxOC

Is this correct? If so why
