gtx 1070 fans not working

2 fans start 4 about 3or4 secs then turn off and don't come back on.i have to have external fan to cool it?gtx 1070 @maximus viii hero mother board???help plz....all the fans on case work also

if your GPU have the 0 DB mode, then the fans will only spin when they reach the target temperature (like 60º or 70 it depends on the profile)
if you go to the gpu control pannel you can see something like Fan control speed or fan profile, and then you can make a diferent fan configurations

thank u but don't seem to work either.i might not have any business building it,but I tried it.1st time , so easy on me folks I am thinking I don't have fan connected right? does the puter control the fan on the card too?ty again
