i installed the gigabyte gtx 1070 g1, everything is great but i can't control RGB LED with Gigabyte Extreme utility, when i change the color and press apply nothing change.

i had uninstall every gpu driver, Geforce experience and gigabyte extreme utility and install everything again but is not working anyways.

Solution
It's in the software I linked above , not OC Guru II , and it works fine , I have the same card , must be an issue with your system and the software.

HERE ^

You can only change the RGB LED through the updated gigabyte software: OC Guru II.
This is the software that is intended for use with the pascal iterations of their graphics cards, so you'll want to pick it up over the extreme utility, which is outdated.
Ensure that you download the gigabyte GPU drivers for your card from the gigabyte download center for up to date drivers.

i have the last drivers for gtx 1070 g1 version 368.39 and the extreme utility v1.04 and it don't work, right now i finished to remove all drivers and profiles of any gpu and installed all again and nothing 🙁

i will check if is something with the bios

Download OC Guru II from the Gigabyte download center, you can control your LED and clock speeds through it.

if updating the bios doesn't work i will try it, thanks

i downloaded OC Guru II but i cant see where can i change the LED

Strange.
It should have the LED control where it says OSD.
I know for a fact that v1.88 had an LED control.
It should look something like this: http://www.hardocp.com/images/articles/1439202407lsYxTzB0s7_4_1.gif
Click the eye in the bottom right, might be an option to open other tabs.

Very weird.
Last I remembered both supported LED control of Gigabyte cards, but since the xtreme utlity didn't have it as an option for the 1070, I assumed that OC Guru II was the default software for the card.
Could however be that the card is not being correctly recognised by the software, who knows.....

I have the same G1 GTX 1070 and my LED controls don't work either. Overclocking from the Xtreme Engine software works fine but no matter what I do with the LED controls nothing happens when I hit apply. It always stays on the default with all the colors cycling. I even tried turning the LED off and that didn't do anything either.

I don't care that much since my case doesn't have any windows but I played around with it just for fun and can confirm it doesn't work for me either. You aren't the only one OP.

mine is working right now but after a clean windows installation with all new drivers and utility

thanks to all for your time and trying to help me

Where exactly can i find the settings for RGB LED in OC Guru II?

Hey guys, i had the same problem and i solve it! My steps:
TURN OFF all led effects in nvidia geforce experience and even maybe kill task "nvidia led visualiser". I think it conflicts with gigabyte's utility.
Install last version of "gigabyte xtreme gaming engine" and control led effects with it.
It works for me!
