Hello. I recently bought a 144hz 1080p monitor and i have a gtx 770 2gb , 8gb of ram. Im planing to increase to 16gb of ram as well get either 1070 or 1060 as an upgrade. I play bf1, rainbow six siege mostly and i want to be as close as 144 fps on those games. i dont mind lowering the video settings to get those fps. I cant OC my CPU coz i dont have the best of the coolers and i have a pretty hot room on summer. Which GPU do u guys recommend me to get? TY :)

DX12 is not going to make the FX8350 suddenly great. Even the i3 6100 outperforms it in just about every game. You could grab a 4th gen i5 or i7 and motherboard and keep your current RAM.

Your FX would hold back either of them. Especially the 1070. It's far too weak for a 1070. It's also far too weak for a 144hz monitor. Use your upgrade money to upgrade to Intel, or wait for Zen if you really want to stick to AMD.

i really thought for the future on dx12 games the 8350 wouldnt be that bad.... and if i want to buy a new intel cpu ,i have to buy a new motherboard and new ram as well. but a good intel cpu like the i5 or i7 has 4 cores. will it be not enough in the future on dx12? that was my thought process. and another thing is that a friend of mine will travel to usa and he will buy those parts for me. here in my country parts are like twice the price. and if i buy the cpu, mobo and ram. it will be too many packages for him to carry :( .sorry for my bad english

Are you kidding? You write better English than over half of American kids these days .

But seriously, like CTurbo said, you will be severely choking (bottle necking) a 1070. I would not put more money into an FX8350 build. Your friend should be able to hide the CPU and RAM inside a laptop bag to carry on board and then put the motherboard in a "checked" bag that goes into the belly of the aircraft.
