Gtx 1070 or RTX 2070?

Hello,
I am currently using a gtx 960 but I wanted to upgrade to gtx 1070 since a long time but now RTx 2070 popped up. But RTX 2070 costs almost double the price of gtx 1070 here in India. And I don't have budget for RTx 2070. I play only on 1080p. What to do? Please help

The GTX 1070 will max everything at 1080p without problems... no need to go with the RTX card at your resolution.

Thanks for the Fast answer. I mean 1070 to costs around 580$ and a rtx 2070 costs costs 840$ here in India.
