[SOLVED] GTX 1070 or RX580 for my system?

Hi guys, I need some advice. I'm getting a GPU for my rig, below are the CPU and monitor I'm using

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Monitor: LG 29WK600 2560x1080 UltraWide FreeSync @ 75hz

Now my options are MSI RX 580 8GB Gaming X and MSI GTX 1070 8GB Armor OC. The price difference here is about $60 USD. Most probably I'll be getting the 580 because of the FreeSync utilization and cheaper price but I wanna know is the 1070 worth the extra money for my system. Thank you.

the price of a vega 56 in my place is double the price of a rx580

Well, depends on the settings you play at then. If you're more of a competitive FPS player that lowers settings to get higher FPS, I'd probably go for the 1070 because freesync won't make much of a difference at 80-90fps anyways. If you're more of a high quality settings player, it's a bit more of a tossup, but the 1070 is so significantly faster that I'd probably go for that anyways.

When you say $60 more, are we talking $400 vs $460 or $240 vs $300? The more expensive they are, the more worth it the extra power of the 1070 is in my opinion.

Ehhh, tossup I would say. I'd personally still go for the GTX 1070 but neither is a bad choice.
