GTX 1070 pin connector

I just ordered a gtx 1070 and my previous graphics used a 6-pin connector and a 4-pin one that went in the motherboard,can I use a 4-pin to 8-pin connector on the new gtx 1070?

Can you specify the make and model of your PSU? Just because you can plug it into your PSU doesn't mean everything will be smooth sailing from there.
