GTX 1070 STRIX + Core P3?

Basically i bought an Core P3 without riser cable version, cause i seen that those cables took some performance from the card and also the Thermaltake's included cable often comes damaged, so my question is: can i fit a gtx 1070 asus strix in my core p3 without the riser? just pluging it in the mobo? i have a 240 watercooler installed next to the mobo so im not sure if it will fit

Measure the distance with a measuring tape in mm, a mini 1070 might be safer.
