Hello,

I am thinking of upgrading my Gtx 1050 ti to a 1070 ti soon. I am only wondering about one thing, should I also upgrade something else on my gaming pc in order to make the 1070 ti run better?

This is what I got now, so I'm thinking of only upgrading GPU to a 1070 ti, will all other parts be fine? Only part that I am worried about is the PSU, because everyone says it's a bad unit but will that VS650 be fine, and its 4 years old btw.
GPU: Gtx 1050ti
CPU: I5 7500 @ 3.8 GHz
RAM: one 8gb 2400 mhz stick
Asus b250m motherboard
PSU: Corsair VS650

Well, 650W is definitely more than enough for 1070ti.
VS650 is not among the best but it is also not as bad as those stupid no-name PSUs.
I think your VS650 should be fine.

1070ti combined with your I5 7500 will also be fine for most cases. Your I5 7500 would be a bottleneck on several new cpu heavy AAA games but you will be fine.

If possible, try to get the RAM to 16GB in total and get an SSD :)

Commendable
On a side note, I'm totally shocked at how many people still run only 1 stick of RAM in 2018. I don't know a single person (family, friends and online gaming friends) that do this for 10 years now.

Upgrade to a dual channel setup and you're good to go.

Good catch. By upgrading your memory with another 8gb stick, not only will you be doubling your memory capacity, you'll be doing the same to the memory's throughput.
