GTX 1070ti PSU assistance

I recently bought a 1070ti and while i wait for it to ship out, i was wondering on what PSU i should get. Was told that my current Apevia 900w was sufficient enough for my 660ti but due to name liability wasn't sure if it would be capable to hold up for the 1070ti. In the case i do have to purchase a new one, i was looking at a Corsair 650w 80+ Gold one, would that be sufficient enough for this GPU?

Which series/line within Corsair's portfolio were you looking at? TX? The Apevia unit is insufficient due to it being an expensive paperweight Where are you located and how much are you looking to spend on the PSU? Perhaps we could help find a unit for you...?
