[SOLVED] Gtx 1080 and i7 FPS drops and input lag

Hey guys so I’m running a gtx 1080 oc
With an i7 7700k and 8gbs of ram.
In fortnite I get around 120-200 but my FPS will drop to around 90. Not to mention after about 2 hours of gaming I start to notice an input lag it’s like my game feels sluggish but when I first turn on my computer and game it runs butter smooth. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Do I need to upgrade my cpu or gpu ? My friend with an 8700k and 1080 averages 200/240

My temps never hit above 80

I’m currently using 8gbs of ddr4 viper elite 2400mhz. What do you mean by compressed ?

Some RAM is compressed in order to save up some RAM for the system buying more RAM will help in this build because i do not think this is the fault of the CPU or GPU i had 8Gb RAM myself and when i upgraded to 16GB RAM(no value RAM) I got alot more fps and less stutters because the CPU was able to acces the dat much faster.
