So im playing gta 5 on an overclocked GTX 1080 Strix rog and I have every setting fully set to the max, is it normal to get 75fps and below? It's a new PC so i'm not sure if the game is just really demanding or if my gpu is thermal throttling. Thanks in advance. Also my gpu is only at 68 degrees celcius with fan speed at around 30-45%.

Maybe your cpu is bottlenecking. What's your cpu usage at? Either way you really shouldn't completely max out GTA V, there are some settings that just ruin framerate like MSAA and some of the advanced graphics settings. They're not really worth putting on. It's pretty normal for the gpu to be around 65-70 degrees so no problems there. Maybe you got the resolution a bit too high? not tried GTA V myself in a while but when I did I was only getting around 60-90fps at 1080p maxed out but that was mainly because my cpu was pretty old.

the cpu temps are good at around 65 degrees.

specs are:
I7-6700k
1080 Strix
750w power supply
16gb 2133mhz RAM
and my gta is on an ssd
